There are many paths,
To the many destinations
In the space of desire.

Many patterns,
Many lenses
For the patterns
And paths
And destinations.

And goddesses
For company
As we journey down the paths
Together.

Triggering memories of nights
In New York, London, LA, Seattle, SF.
At darkwave clubs, lightships, barnevald, dna,
Santa Cruz, the Mojave, the Sierras.

Noticing
(or flirting with!)
a woman who looks like
she's got me written all over her.

The mist

You're the mist,
Sensually lingering,
Cool on my skin,
And in my mind.

You're the transformation,
As the mist swirls and lifts,
Pervasive, barely perceptible,
Soft focus and crisp -- why choose?

You're the world,
Obscured, revealed,
Peaceful, serene,
Experienced and alive.

Thinking about midnight,

lavender nail polish
a bracelet
a choker

Sweet dreams

Sometimes when I reflect
On how much I adore you
And then drift off to sleep
You fill my mind and heart
Throughout the entire ecstatic night.
After waking up, at least a little bit,
I try to capture the wonder in a poem.
Even knowing words will fall short,
I'll still be thinking of you
And so prolong the bliss.

Serenity

Drinking chamomile tea,
From a mug with images
Of flowers and leaves:
Chamomile of course,
Saffron and peppermint,
Comfrey and lemon balm,
Rosemary and jasmine.
On the inside it says
"Sip a bit of serenity."
